1. Purpose
The purpose of this Policy is to establish ETD’s commitment to maintaining accurate, current, and reliable marketplace information through responsible data management and continuous quality improvement.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to information displayed or maintained within the ETD Marketplace, including but not limited to:
- Provider listings
- Business information
- Contact information
- Tire inventory
- Wheel inventory
- Service areas
- Business hours
- Pricing information
- Photographs
- Service descriptions
- Languages spoken
- Marketplace categories
- Customer reviews
- Other marketplace content
3. Data Quality Principles
ETD seeks to maintain marketplace information that is:
- Accurate
- Current
- Complete
- Relevant
- Consistent
- Understandable
- Useful to marketplace participants
4. Provider Responsibilities
Providers are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of information they submit to the ETD Marketplace.
Providers are encouraged to promptly update information whenever material changes occur, including:
- Contact information
- Business hours
- Service areas
- Inventory availability
- Pricing
- Services offered
- Languages spoken
- Business status
- Other listing information
5. ETD Responsibilities
ETD seeks to support marketplace data quality by:
- Providing tools for updating listings.
- Encouraging regular listing reviews.
- Reviewing reported inaccuracies when appropriate.
- Improving marketplace organization.
- Supporting consistent marketplace standards.
- Continuously improving marketplace data quality processes.
6. Customer Participation
Customers play an important role in improving marketplace quality.
Customers are encouraged to REPORT information that appears to be:
- Incorrect
- Outdated
- Misleading
- Incomplete
- No longer applicable
Constructive feedback helps improve the marketplace for everyone.
7. Continuous Verification
ETD may periodically review marketplace information to help identify listings that may benefit from updates or verification.
Review activities may include:
- Contact verification
- Listing activity
- Business status
- Inventory freshness
- Service availability
- General listing maintenance
8. Automated Assistance
ETD may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to help identify potential inconsistencies, outdated information, duplicate listings, incomplete records, or other opportunities to improve marketplace quality.
Automated tools assist the quality improvement process but do not replace provider responsibility for maintaining accurate information.
9. Corrections
When inaccuracies are identified, ETD may:
- Request updated information from the provider.
- Correct obvious administrative errors when appropriate.
- Temporarily limit the visibility of incomplete or inaccurate listings.
- Remove information that cannot reasonably be verified or that materially affects marketplace reliability.
Any actions taken will be guided by ETD’s Marketplace Quality Assurance Policy and other applicable governance documents.

ETD periodically reviews its information management practices to improve:
